Yukon River

Canoeing the Yukon River

Explore the upper Yukon River between Eagle and Circle City. This section contains some of the most spectacular and unspoiled scenery. For about 158 miles the Yukon meanders through mountain ranges and past spectacular bluffs in which 600 million years of geologic events are documented. Shortly before Circle the river enters the eastern portion of the Yukon River Flats. Between the towns of Eagle and Circle most of the land on either side of the Yukon is part of the Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve
We offer canoe and equipment rental, logistics and guided tours. More information and pricing here.
